What user data do we collect?
Second Place Games will never intentionally collect user personal data.
We cannot take responsibility for personal data collected by third party sales platforms that offer our games (such as Steam or Google Play), but we will never intentionally share personally identifiable information about the user.
Example: Google Play requires the user to use their Google Account, which Second Place Games does not control, to offer our game Hoard Lord for sale.
The only services our games will ever share data with intentionally will be in order to support in-game features, such as scores for leaderboards, achievement progress, or multiplayer facilitation. We will never intentionally provide personally identifiable information to these services.
Example: Hoard Lord sends scores and achievement progress to Google Play Game Services - if the user is online and signed in to that service.
We will always design our games to function without any third party online services required, though that may disable some features related to those services.
As we do not store or collect any user data directly, the best way for a consumer to remove any data related to our products would be to contact the operators of any online services being utilized in a particular game.
Example: contact Google Play Games with any questions about score or achievement data being sent by Hoard Lord.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
This privacy policy is effective as of 2017-03-11.
If material aspects of this policy changes, consumers will be notified on all active distribution pages for our products within 30 days, with a link to the new policy.
